TWO ROOMS
Directed by Richard Manichello
M&M Productions will present a new drama by Lee Blessing. Provocative and compelling, this arresting work deals with a subject much in the minds of contemporary society—the taking of innocent hostages by political terrorists. TWO ROOMS, by Lee Blessing, illuminates both the numbing agony of the one detained and also the helpless fury of those who are left behind—loved ones impatient for something to be done, and officials who feel they must be guided by logic rather than emotion. "…the playwright's eye is penetrating…[Mr. Blessing] reaffirms his authority with timely political questions" —NY Times.
The two rooms of the title are a windowless cubicle in Beirut where an American hostage is being held by Arab terrorists and a room in his home in the United States, which his wife has stripped of furniture so that, at least symbolically, she can share his ordeal. Olivia Rerek, Matthew Rowe, Carol Eagen and Janice Kirkel are featured in this timely production.

MYSTERIOUS LADIES
Directed by Ray Eckerle
M&M Productions Acting Company, Inc. presents two one act plays under the title MYSTERIOUS LADIES. MS. CAGE, by Nancy Barr, is a compelling drama and SPECTER, by Don Nigro is a thriller with some dark comedy thrown in. In MRS. As the detective probes, Mrs. Cage describes her life, and the unusual circumstances that led to a most extraordinary situation. A remarkable mystery unfolds. Featuring Kevin Vislocky and Enid Breis. And, SPECTER illustrates the things that can happen when a usually mild mannered man does his good deed and picks up an alluring, unpredictable hitchhiker. A Hitchcockian thriller, cat and mouse game played out in the front seat of a sedan on a lonely stretch of road. What can happen...? Featuring Karen Symington Muendell and Kevin Vislocky.

You toss out the suggestions and Aardvark Improv runs away with them – as they have for several years in the Westchester area. It’s always original, it’s always funny. It’s
