A Midsummer Night’s Dream – 2026

M&M Performing Arts Company Presents
A Midsummer Night’s Dream
A Romantic Comedy by William Shakespeare

TICKETS

This summer, M&M Performing Arts

brings William Shakespeare’s most famous romantic comedy to open-air theater. Set in the groovy1960s, A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be performed alfresco in the Palm Court under the stunning metal skeleton of the Lord & Burnham 1880s gothic greenhouse. You can catch some rays and enjoy the flower power of young lovers falling comically in and out of love and a blundering troupe of squares under the spell of far out fairies in a forest over the course of an outta sight night. Can you dig it?

Directed by Melinda O’Brien with assistant direction and choreography by Ari Mack, the cast includes: Kevin Arthur, Taryn Comizio, Scott Faubel, Mari Gordon, Ari Mack, Leslie Messina, Elizabeth Mialaret, Peter Moriarty, Nick Nazario, Eric Novak, Melinda O’Brien, Jess Reed, Will Royston and Rob Troiano with Emmy Schwartz and Nan Weiss stage managing.

Performances, July 9 through 26 at 7:00 pm. Performances are 90 minutes without an intermission and appropriate for ages 8 and up. At 7:00 pm, the audience will gather in front of the greenhouse and proceed to the Palm Court, where seating will be provided. A tent will be used for inclement weather; the performances are rain or shine.

Picnicking is an important part of the outdoor summer theater experience!  Your ticket includes early access starting at 5:30 pm to a specified picnic area adjacent to the greenhouse. You are welcome to bring low-profile tables and chairs, a blanket, and an umbrella for shade.  Please clear your dinner area as you exit, as picnicking is carry-in, carry-out.
