The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)

A Farce by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, Jess Winfield

Although the season was cut short by the Coronavirus crisis, M&M Performing Arts Company brought a madcap mash-up of all of Shakespeare plays to Lyndhurst in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged).

It was performed in repertory with Shakespeare’s romantic comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream in the Grand Picture Gallery in March 2020. The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) included all 37 plays in less than 90 minutes! Three whacky actors (Scott Faubel, Emma Taylor Miller and Mikel Von Brodbeck) wove their wicked way through all of Shakespeare’s comedies, histories, and tragedies in one wild ride that left you breathless and helpless with laughter. If you liked Shakespeare, you’d have loved this show. If you hated Shakespeare, you’d have loved it even more! Performances were in the Grand Picture Gallery of Lyndhurst Mansion. Lyndhurst, a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, is a Gothic Revival masterpiece on the banks of the Hudson River in Tarrytown, NY at 635 South Broadway (Route 9).
