Sherlock Holmes: The Adventure of the Dancing Men at Bartow-Pell Mansion

A  site-specific Sherlock Holmes mystery at historic Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum in Pelham Bay Park will perform June 1 through 9. Adapted by Tal Aviezer from the classic story by Arthur Conan Doyle and directed by Melinda O’Brien.

The great detective Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson are on the case at Ridling Thorpe Manor (the manor is played by historic Bartow-Pell Mansion). The classic mystery is given a special period flavor as it moves through rooms of the beautiful mansion. Performances run from June 1 through 9. Tickets are $35 with $30 for Seniors/Students. Sherlock Holmes (Tal Aviezer) and Doctor Watson (Mikel Von Brodbeck) are called upon to solve an odd case. Mr. Hilton Cubitt (Derek Tarson) is baffled when childish drawings of little dancing men mysteriously appear in and around his beautiful country estate terrifying his young American wife (Zoey Rutherford). Are the strange drawings a bizarre prank, or a warning of deadly danger? Emma Freeman, Melinda O’Brien and David V. Ryan make up the rest of the cast.
